This Monday, August 21, 2017 the Great American Eclipse starts at about 11:49 am with a nearly 3 minute eclipse when the Moon's shadow races across Missouri at about 1,900 miles per hour!
The Danforth Center is on the edge of the full eclipse zone, with about 10 seconds of the full eclipse occurring around 1:15 pm. This increases as you travel south on Interstate 55 to Festus (2 minutes and 37 seconds) or St. Genevieve (2 minutes and 40 seconds) near the centerline of the eclipse.
